Death Note

So, though death note is in the topic, I am not here to tell you its review or shit, but I do wanna tell you that I am talking about the anime and when you have a comparison of how a something can be really good or awfully bad, there is also a death note movie which sucked and many people say because the story was rushed, or it is no animated but what they do not realize is that it is none of those factors. People often tend to forget what makes the anime, death note so special and so interesting, it is not the fact of having a death note or killing people or even any of the rules of the death note, its the characters, be true to yourself if anyone has seen death note, and if you think about it, you do not think about the notebook, you think about Kira and L. A story needs to have characters that are diverse and well established, a plot is needed, rules are needed to explain the death note but without any Light to use those rules, it becomes boring. The movie never established any of its characters but was rather just focusing on all the rules, they took what people loved about Light’s character making him no Light. Another thing that makes any story interesting is the conflict, every story needs conflict and as we know, death note had a conflict about what you think justice is but if you take that out of the story, you will not get good scenes. Anything can be made good by how well established the characters are, their interactions become memorable and you want to see how he will react to a certain thing or how will he talk with him or her. Death note is a good example of how to think something that blows people’s minds with either how great it is in the anime and how bad it is in the movie.
